Greg Aponte leads a cadre of 25 inspectors who visit hurricane-damaged homes to determine their eligibility for temporary roofing. Aponte says it generally takes about a week from the time an inspection in an urban area is completed until crews arrive to install a roof, but longer in the mountains.
