BG Turner Signs Proctor Creek Agreement with City
South Atlantic Division and City of Atlanta on October 4 signed an agreement to jointly fund and pursue a 3-year feasibility study to address environmental and flooding problems in the Proctor Creek basin in the city. The project is innovative in that it seeks an integrated approach to a wide array of problems and involves extensive partnerships with other agencies and community groups. Mayor Kasim Reed signed for the city, while BG C. David Turner, SAD commander, signed for USACE. The study will be conducted by the Mobile District.
