About Us
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers South Atlantic Division oversees military and water resources projects across the Southeast, the Caribbean, and parts of Central and South America. With six districts, the division designs and builds key military infrastructure for Army and Air Force installations, serving 32% of the Army and 18% of the Air Force. It also manages 33 multi-purpose water projects, providing flood control, power, water supply, navigation, and recreation. The division operates over 6,000 miles of navigable channels and 29 harbors, and leads major environmental restoration efforts, including the Everglades Restoration.
