U.S. Virgin Islands - U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS – Debris team Resident Engineer Quyet La, Louisville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, discusses various debris related topics with his FEMA counterpart on St. John, #USVI, Dec. 20, 2017. La is on his second deployment to the U.S. Virgin Islands, with his first from Sep. 9 to Nov. 8, during which he rode out Hurricane Maria on St. Croix. La return to the debris mission on St. Thomas Dec. 14, 2017, on a tasker for 60 days. La said that he wanted to return and hopefully see the mission completed.
