Command Sergeant Major Douglas S. Padgett is a native of Johnston, South Carolina. He entered the United States Army on 23 December 1988 and completed Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri as a Combat Engineer (12B). CSM Padgett has served in various leadership positions from Team Leader to Brigade Command Sergeant Major.
