Jim DeGraff, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Alaska District, works as a Quality Assurance specialist for the USACE Critical Public Facilities team in support of the Federal Emergency Management Agency's response to Hurricane Maria. Before being assigned to Puerto Rico, DeGraff served for 43 days with the USACE hurricane recovery mission in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
