Sharon Garay Rodriguez serves as the deputy director for the Puerto Rico Power Grid Restoration Program. Before working for USACE, she worked for PREPA in field maintenance and construction of systems. "Her technical competence, acquisition expertise, and knowledge of the intricacies of the PR Electric Power Authority were an instrumental asset to the team," wrote Brig. Gen. Diana Holland, who leads the USACE response and recovery effort.

Last pass operations in Fajardo, Puerto Rico on January 30, 2018 marked the end of debris collection for that municipality under the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s debris mission assignment. Completing the last pass, for debris clearing marks the transition to the next phase of recovery for Fajardo in Puerto Rico.
