Mike Bauman, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Honolulu District, inspects a generator for a flood control pump near San Juan, Puerto Rico Dec. 27. Bauman has been working in Puerto Rico as a Quality Assurance technician for the Non-Federal Generator Operation and Maintenance mission since late October. He says the mission is challenging, but that it's "always rewarding to help and give back to these communities."
