USACE ramps up Blue Roof support in Puerto Rico

U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Environmental Engineer Linoshka Soto-Perez fills out assessment and Right of Entry Form with Christobolina De Los Santos, in Las Margaritas, San Juan, Puerto Rico, on October 17, 2017. The team has collected 5,732 Right of Entry forms, conducted 3,878 assessments, and installed more than 800 roofs. The numbers are climbing exponentially as they add more installation teams.

Currently, teams are actively installing temporary roofs and accepting applications in: Arecibo, Vega Baja, Vega Alta, Dorado, San Juan, Caguas, Loiza, Yabucoa and Humacao. Teams are collecting applications and anticipate Blue Roof installations to begin in Aguadilla, Manati, Bayamon, Carolina Luquillo, Fajardo,San Lorenzo and Mayaguez. 

 Blue Roof teams will be collecting ROEs within the next seven days in Ponce, Toa Baja, Toa Alta, Patillas, Maunabo, Juncos, Las Piedras, Rio Grande, Ceiba and Naguabo.
